User manual for the CRU-DataPort DataPort 10 SecureDock 256-Bit 8452-5943-0500
The user manual for the CRU-DataPort DataPort 10 SecureDock 256-Bit 8452-5943-0500 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Computers & Solutions - Drives & Storage - Internal Hard Drive Trays.
The CRU DataPort 10 SecureDock 256-Bit Enclosure with Internal Key includes hardware-based AES 256-bit encryption that will allow you to encrypt/decrypt an entire hard drive with the hardware processor that delivers both high speeds and performances. This hardware-based encryption provides a straightforward interface.
Encryption keys are mounted to the back of the frames and secured into the host computer, eliminating the need for key or password management. Simply remove the carrier, and your hard drive is encrypted. In order to access the data, the carrier must be reinserted into a frame with a matching encryption key.
Aluminum frames and carriers dissipate heat while ensuring the ultimate safety for your data. Each carrier is equipped with CRU's Temperature Controlled Cooling System (TCCS), and an audible alarm will notify you if the drives begin to overheat so that you can prevent data loss or drive malfunction/damage.
After you power on your drive with the keylock, LEDs will notify you of power, drive, encryption key errors, and encryption activity.
