New features for version 12 include UltraHD 4K import, editing, export and playback, faster encoding thanks to 64-bit support and the updated TrueVelocity 4 processing engine, and the ability to upscale low resolution YouTube videos to HD. The software will run on Windows XP SP3 through Windows 8.1, and supports both 32- and 64-bit version. Certain features, including 4K and 3D support, however, will require a 64-bit operating system.
