This B&H Kit features the D-Link DCM-301 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem and the TRENDnet TEW-823DRU Dual-Band Wireless AC1750 Gigabit Router, which together help simplify the process of setting up and configuring a network. With the included cable modem, you can take advantage of download transfer speeds of up to 343 Mbps and upload transfer speeds of up to 150 Mbps. Additionally, you can take advantage of enhanced Quality of Service (QoS) features that make it easy to manage network traffic to ensure each connected device has sufficient bandwidth. With a single Gigabit Ethernet port, you can connect this modem directly to the included TRENDnet router. Once connected, the router makes it easy to distribute the network connection to nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device, as it supports 802.11ac network standards. The TEW-823DRU operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, allowing more bandwidth-intensive tasks to be allocated to the less-congested 5 GHz frequency. You can also connect Ethernet-enabled devices to any of the four Gigabit Ethernet ports located on the back of the router.
