Dual-band connectivity allows you to connect bandwidth hogging devices to the less congested 5 GHz frequency for faster downloads, streaming HD content, and more. Additionally, this router supports the 802.11ac networking standards supporting data transfer rates of up to 750 Mbps. For a reliable wired Ethernet connection, the DIR-813 comes equipped with four Fast Ethernet ports. In addition to being used as a router, the DIR-813 can also be used as a repeater to extend the reach of a current wireless network.
