User manual for the Datavideo MCU-200S Rackmount Camera Controller for Sony MCU-200S
The user manual for the Datavideo MCU-200S Rackmount Camera Controller for Sony MCU-200S provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Camcorder & Camera Peripherals - RCPs & MCPs.
The Datavideo MCU-200S is a rackmount camera controller that allows you to control up to 4 Sony video cameras from up to 3280 ft using the included AD-1 adapters. The interface between the controller and AD-1 adapters is a RS-422 differential line and you can also use CAT5e/6 cables for the same distance.
This controller lets you adjust your cameras all by yourself without having to leave your multi-view monitor. It also allows you to store and recall memory settings within 3 memory banks.
The iris knob on this controller is not a position knob but instead a rotary knob that increases or decreases the current setting. So you can have camera 1 selected, which is at iris position 1, then switch to camera 2. Camera 2 will be at whatever setting it is at currently, and the knob will be used to increase or decrease the setting. Then, you can switch to the next camera and do the same. In this way, you can tune each camera to have its own individual iris settings.
