User manual for the EnGenius ENH500 High-Powered, Long Range 5 GHz Wireless ENH500
The user manual for the EnGenius ENH500 High-Powered, Long Range 5 GHz Wireless ENH500 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Computers & Solutions - Networking - Wireless Bridges.
The EnGenius ENH500 High-Powered, Long Range 5 GHz Wireless N300 Outdoor Client Bridge complies with the IEEE802.11 a/n standard featuring MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) antenna design with wireless data rate up to 300 Mb/s. The high-powered, long-range ENH500 is a wireless N300 client bridge operating in the 5 GHz frequency band. As a result, when associated with a 5 GHz wireless access point, it avoids the more congested 2.4 GHz frequency band all together. Utilizing its integrated internal 13 dBi directional antenna and its high power output of up to 600mW, the ENH500 Outdoor Client Bridge delivers higher throughput across an extended range making it as suitable CPE offering for companies wishing to wirelessly link to another building, so other client devices in the remote building can join the company network.
This ENH500 Outdoor Client Bridge also features a robust security feature set that includes support for 64/128/256-bit WEP encryption, WPA/WPA2 Personal and Enterprise encryption, 802.1x authentication, hidden SSID, and MAC address filtering. The multiple operation modes of this access point makes it a suitable solution for creating a high-speed, stable, and highly secure outdoor wireless link between buildings, connecting surveillance cameras, or connecting outdoor digital sign to an office network.
