For improved document management, the WorkForce DS-520 Color Document Scanner from Epson offers impressive scan speeds of 30 ppm as well as a duplex scanning option with a rating of 60 ipm. The scanner also provides excellent image quality with a 600 dpi optical resolution and a 48-bit internal color depth. Document handling is simple with a 50-sheet automatic document feeder which can handle items as small as 2.1 x 2.9" or as large at 8.5 x 36".
An additional feature with the DS-520 is the ability to scan business and rigid plastic ID cards as well as oversized folded sheets. The unit also has a daily duty cycle of 3,000 sheets and USB 2.0 connectivity. It is compatible with TWAIN and ISIS drivers and can scan to searchable PDFs or directly to the cloud.
