Achieve high resolution imaging with the dye sublimation and retransfer technology found in the Avansia Duplex Retransfer Card Printer from Evolis, available here with the Evolis Elyctis dual smart card and contactless (IDENTIV chipset) encoder and a dual high/low-coercivity 3-track magnetic stripe encoder. It can reach a print resolution of 600 dpi for highly detailed images and sharp text and can work single-sided YMCK at up to 144 cards per hour or double-sided YMCKK at up to 96 cards per hour. Also, it uses CR-80 cards and has over-the-edge printing which provide true borderless printing.
For handling cards it features a 250-card input tray and a 250-card output as well as a 30-card reject tray. Also, the front panel has a two-line LCD for settings and status along with an LED indicator light. Security has been improved with an RFID electronic key which can be removed to prevent use of the printer and there is a Kensington lock slot. Additionally, it has both USB 2.0 and Ethernet interfaces for connecting to a PC.
