The user manual for the Focal CMS SUB 300W 11" Front-Firing Studio FOPRO-CMSSUB provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Recording - Studio Monitors.
The CMS SUB from Focal Professional is a professional-quality studio subwoofer, and an ideal companion for the CMS-series studio monitor speakers. The subwoofer features an 11" front-firing Polyglass cone woofer. The woofer is lightweight and rigid to provide a neutral sound response with tight, controlled bass. The internally-braced MDF cabinet houses a 300W RMS amplifier with BASH technology for strong, distortion-free performance. A front-panel bass port helps to extend bass frequencies even further.
The rear panel features standard XLR connectors for wide compatibility with virtually any professional sound system. It also has controls for level adjustment, phase adjustment, and a polarity switch. A low-pass filter is included, along with mute capability. The subwoofer can also be muted externally via a footswitch. Solid feet on the bottom of the subwoofer isolate it from the floor to prevent vibrations and reflections.
