Once connected, the drive is capable of data transfer speeds of up to 165 MB/s making it the ideal storage solution for a variety of data-intensive applications.
The drive itself comes pre-formatted for use with Mac computers running Mac OS 10.7 and higher, and can easily be reformatted for use with PCs running Windows 8 or Windows 7. In addition to Mac compatibility, the G-DRIVE is also compatible with Apple Time Machine for easy backup of your critical system information and other important data files. The 3TB G-DRIVE with Thunderbolt operates using a 100-240 VAC power adapter.
