Get comprehensive yardage and hole information on more than 40,000 golf courses with the white Approach S4 from Garmin. This GPS-supported golf watch with a 1" monochrome touchscreen display gives you precise yardage distance to the front, back, and middle of greens. Additionally, the Approach S4 tells you what hole number you are on, the par for that hole, and the distances to any doglegs or layups. The dedicated Green View button lets you can take a closer look at the green and, if need be, move the pin location for more accurate yardage information.
The Approach S4 comes preloaded with more than 40,000 golf courses from around the world. To ensure your information is up to date and current, every Approach includes free lifetime course updates from Garmin Express—Garmin's free device-management software. Course updates are added up to 4 times a year.
Use the Approach S4's digital scorecard and stat-tracking capabilities to track your performance as you play. The Approach S4 can be set to use either the stroke play (medal play) or stableford scoring system. When you've finished golfing, you can use the included USB cradle to connect the Approach S4 to your computer and view all your saved scorecards on Garmin Connect. Garmin Connect is Garmin's free community site where you can track, review, analyze, and share all your golfing data.
Engineered with golfers in mind, the Approach S4's touchscreen is designed to be both glove-friendly and sunlight readable. You'll no longer struggle to see or access the data you need. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery lasts up to 10 hours in GPS mode, enough for a full day of golf. In case you are on the course all day, the Approach S4 is Bluetooth-enabled, so it can receive call, text, and email alerts from compatible smartphones.
