Get GPS-guided navigation and advanced cycling training capabilities with the Edge 810 Cycling Computer and GPS Navigator from Garmin. This touchscreen cycling computer comes bundled with a heart rate monitor and speed sensor, and is designed for cyclists who don't want to choose between using a navigator or a comprehensive training device—it's both. The 810 comes with a built-in basemap, a microSD card preloaded with City Navigator, and is compatible with optional detailed street or TOPO maps, so it can guide you during touring, commuting, or other activities requiring onboard navigation. Because it's GPS-supported, the Edge 810 is designed to provide accurate data and navigation anywhere in the world.
In addition to its mapping and navigation capabilities, the 810 also tracks and records more than 70 points of cycling data, such as distance, ascent/descent, grade, and more. Create a personalized activity profile by customizing the data fields based on your cycling activity, such as road, mountain, or touring. You can switch activity profiles with a swipe of the touchscreen.
The Edge 810 enables you to record your ride data and wirelessly share it in real time through your smartphone and the Garmin Connect Mobile app. Garmin Connect is a free online community that lets you store and analyze your riding data and interact with other Garmin product users. To upload and share your riding information, install the Garmin Connect Mobile app to your compatible smartphone. Once the app is installed, the Edge 810 can wirelessly send data to your smartphone using Bluetooth. To upload your riding information to Garmin Connect manually, plug the included USB cable into your Edge's mini-USB port and connect it to a compatible computer. In addition to storing and sharing your data, Garmin Connect Mobile can also be used to send real-time weather reports, alerts, and forecasts to your Edge 810.
The Edge 810 is designed to mount to your bike's handlebars or stem for easy visibility and access. Attach the included standard or out-front mount to the desired location on your bike and then snap the Edge 810 into the mount to secure it. The Edge's rechargeable battery lasts up to 17 hours on a full charge, so you can ride longer without having to recharge the device. Additionally, it's designed to be waterproof and can withstand incidental exposure to water of up to 3.3' for up to 30 minutes.
