The 4K Ultra HD ELR-POL Extender from Gefen is a sender (transmitter) and receiver set which implements HDBaseT technology to extend an HDMI signal up to 495' using one Cat 5e cable. This extender supports resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD with 7.1 channels of HBR (High Bit Rate) loss-less digital audio. It provides Ethernet, RS-232, and two-way IR extension between the sender and the receiver units, making the 10/100 BaseT wired Ethernet connection available at the remote location without the need to run a separate cable. This extender also allows the transfer of IR commands and RS-232 communications between two locations. RS-232 and bi-directional IR can be used to control A/V sources placed near the sender unit and to send automation commands to the display or another device placed near the receiver unit. Bi-directional POL (Power Over Line) technology powers the sender or the receiver unit using the same cable that extends the HDMI signal: only one of the two units needs a power supply, simplifying installation.

Hello,I replaced the rv radio, which controls back,and turn signal cameras. How can I wire it to have the backup camera on all the time as a rear view mirror function, except when blinkers are on.
