The black Genus Cage for GoPro HERO3 from Genustech lets you bring your GoPro camera even closer to the action. Constructed from CNC machined aluminum, the Genus Cage provides 360° protection and fits around your GoPro HERO3 camera when inside its waterproof housing. For use without the waterproof housing, optional top and bottom adapter shims are available.
With 30 separate 1/4"-20 and six separate 3/8"-16 threaded holes, the Genus Cage provides plenty of mounting options and support for camera accessories. It also features a built-in 52mm filter thread for adding protective and effects filters, or even lens adapters. For added convenience, the cage keeps access to the HDMI output and USB port open.
For use with GoPro HERO3+: The cage can be used with the Hero 3+ camera in its naked state and the original Hero 3 waterproof housing. The latest version of the waterproof housing (released at the same time as the Hero 3+) is not compatible with the cage.
