The Brix GB-BXi-5H-4200 Ultra Compact PC Kit from Gigabyte is a barebones kit that needs an operating system, RAM memory and hard drive to make it function properly. You can add up to 16GB of SO-DIMM DDR3L memory in the two RAM slots and a hard drive via SATA connection or SSD via the mSATA slot. Once all the components have been installed you get an ultra compact PC that you can use as a discreet media PC, digital signage unit, or an ultra-low power PC for the family or office.

The Brix GB-BXi-5H-4200 features a 4th generation Haswell Intel Core i5-4200U processor, integrated Intel HD 4400 graphics and Bluetooth 4.0. Two high speed USB 3.0 ports are conveniently located one side of the Brix and another two are located on the opposite side. When you need to access the Internet or network you can connect using the installed 802.11b/g/n wireless module or the Gigabit LAN RJ-45 jack. Gigabyte has also included a Kensington lock slot in the back of the case to prevent theft.
