User manual for the Grandstream Networks 12-Channel 1080p NVR GVR3550 NVR
The user manual for the Grandstream Networks 12-Channel 1080p NVR GVR3550 NVR provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Surveillance Video - Network Video Recorders (NVRs).
Create a small-to-medium sized surveillance system using the 12-Channel 1080p NVR from Grandstream as the main equipment hub. With the ability to manage up to 12 channels at 1080p or 24 channels at 720p, as well as ports for a VGA or HDMI connected monitor, 16 alarm inputs, 2-way audio, and a keyboard and mouse, the NVR allows you to manage your entire system from your chair. Up to four hard disk drives can be installed into the NVR for 16TB of internal memory space. For extra storage, take advantage of the eSATA port and connect an additional external drive, or save footage to a USB stick using one of the two USB 2.0 ports.
Designed for easy installation and setup, the NVR features camera auto-discovery and will recognize any camera connected to the network. Cameras are independent of each other and can be adjusted individually so each camera functions at its own optimal level. With customizable recording rules, each camera can be set to record continuously, schedule-based, event-triggered, or only-on demand. Cameras can be set to detect tampering and motion, and will send alerts to multiple devices. When alarms are triggered, the cameras will take immediate snapshots and will automatically save before-and-after moments so users can view exactly what triggered the alarm. Saved footage can be searched via time and date, or by alarm-trigger reason for easy review.
Up to 30 users can be arranged, each with various privilege levels allowing administrators to edit and security personnel to monitor. The rack fits into a 1U space for convenience and features on-display status lights and adjustment buttons for quick changes. A preview screen can be set on the installed monitor for quick-glance updates of live footage without having to log in to the system.
