Be prepared for a very long day on the trail, or an ultra-light overnighter, with the moss / mercury / chartreuse Hawk 45 Internal Frame Pack from High Sierra. This pack features 45 liters of capacity to carry all of your essential trail gear. The AIRFLOW 2 suspended back panel system holds the pack away from your back to help keep you dry as you hike, while the dual adjustable aluminum frame bars contour to the shape of your back. Contoured straps with adjustable load lifters and VAPEL mesh padding provide comfort out on your trek, and an adjustable hip belt transfers some of the load to your waist.
The top load design has a spindrift collar that lets you overstuff the bag, and keeps debris from finding its way in when the lid is open. A horseshoe-shaped front-load zipper compartment with adjustable inner divider allows you to separate your gear so you can find it easily when the time comes to put on that extra layer. The front of the pack features an integrated stretch mesh front pocket to accommodate extra gear. The pack is hydration bladder compatible, with dual pass-through for the drinking tube.
The front has dual tool loops and bungee cords to transport trekking poles and other tools. There is a removable media compartment on the shoulder strap to hold a music player or navigation device. Dual mesh holsters keep water bottles within easy reach, or provide a place to stash smaller items. Bungee cords on the lid holds items such as rain jackets that you don't want to put in the bag because they are wet or dirty. Small zippered pockets on either side of the hip belt hold small items such as wallet or identification at the ready. Compression straps condense the load and keep the pack tight to your back so it won't sway on the trail. A removable rain cover rounds out the features on the exterior of the pack, and keeps your gear dry in the event of a sudden shower.
