Harsh weather environments pose no threat to the HD4 VFAI Lens True Day/Night Indoor/Outdoor Mini Dome IR Camera from Honeywell. Enclosed in IP66-rated waterproof housing, the mini dome camera features a vented panel for preventing condensation, and a built-in heater allowing the camera to function in harsh environments with temperatures as low as -40°. The camera's 1/3" CCD II image sensor and 3.3-12mm IR varifocal lens produce 600 TVL resolution images. The varifocal's auto iris lens correction allows images to be captured at a consistent exposure level despite possible varying light conditions. Using 18 IR LEDs, the camera can record images up to 50' away even in complete darkness and uses IR technology along with an optical lens shield to avoid hot spots and reflections for clear images during round-the-clock surveillance.
Designed for easy installation, the camera housing features coax composite and UTP outputs and can be adjusted using the on-screen display. The mini dome camera can be surface or flush mounted on a wall or ceiling, though mounts must be purchased separately.
