With Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology, the maximum clock rate this processor can achieve is 3.6 GHz. Additionally, this processor features eighteen cores with thirty-six threads in a FCLGA2011-3 socket and has 45MB of Intel Smart Cache memory. Having eighteen cores allows the processor to run multiple programs simultaneously without slowing down the system, while the thirty-six threads allow applications to complete tasks sooner by working in parallel.
This Xeon E5-2699 v3 2.3 GHz 18-Core processor has been designed for professionals who work in demanding workflows and require strong performance, reliability, and resources.
