This B&H Kit combines the HP Z840 K7P06UT Rackable Minitower Workstation with a second 2.4 GHz Xeon E5-2630 v3 8-Core processor, seven 8GB 288-pin 2133 MHz PC4-17000 DDR4 RDIMM memory modules, a 512GB HP Z Turbo Drive G2 PCIe SSD, an HP NVIDIA Quadro K5200 graphics card, an HP Thunderbolt-2 PCIe 1-Port I/O Card, and B&H installation services.

Within the Z Series, the Z840 Series Workstation delivers extreme performance in a rackable minitower form factor. This system is powered by a 2.4 GHz Intel Xeon E5-2630 v3 8-Core processor. To increase the system's processing abilities, a second 2.4 GHz Xeon E5-2630 v3 8-Core processor is installed alongside the first one, allowing for the execution of even more advanced tasks.

The internal hard drive in this computer stores up to 1TB of data and accesses this data at a speed of 7200 rpm. A SuperMulti DVD Burner is also built into this system for reading and writing data stored on optical media. While the installed operating system is Windows 7 Pro (64-bit), a Windows 8.1 Pro (64-bit) license is also included and is available at no additional cost.

For delivering sharp, clear graphics, this workstation includes an HP NVIDIA Quadro K5200 single slot, full height graphics card that has 8GB of GDDR5 memory over a 256-bit memory interface, 2304 CUDA cores, and a memory bandwidth of 192 GB/s. The Quadro K5200 also has 2 x DisplayPort 1.2 outputs, 1 x Dual Link DVI-D output, and 1 x Dual Link DVI-I output. This graphics card will support a maximum resolution of up to 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz and is also able to support up to four directly-connected simultaneous displays or up to four simultaneous displays on a single DisplayPort when using an MST hub.

External peripherals may be connected to this system using included HP Thunderbolt-2 PCIe 1-Port I/O Card, which allows bi-directional transfer speeds of up to 20 Gb/s. Additional compatible peripherals may be connected using the 8 x USB 3.0 ports and 2 x USB 2.0 ports. Network connectivity may be achieved using the dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and a USB keyboard and mouse are also included.

While this system natively includes 8GB of memory, when bundled with the 7 x 8GB (56GB) memory module kit, this system features 64GB of 288-pin 2133 MHz PC4-17000 DDR4 RDIMM memory. A 512GB PCIe SSD is also included and provides faster read and write speeds than both a SATA SSD or a traditional hard drive. The SSD is installed alongside the native 1TB 7200 rpm hard drive, giving this workstation a total combined storage capacity of 1.512TB. This workstation also includes B&H professional installation; these services allow your system and additional components to be ready for use upon arrival.
