This level of night vision serves to complement the camera's excellent picture resolution of 570 lines generated by a 1/2" CCD. Amazingly, Ikegami was able to pack all of this power inside an ultra compact enclosure. This way, you can easily pair it with an outdoor housing and use this highly sensitive camera to monitor an outdoor location that remains dark for a good part of a 24-hour cycle.
