Look at the world beneath the waves in an exciting new way with this 3.6" Ikelite Yellow Barrier Filter, which fits underwater lens ports with 3.6" diameters and Ikelite's W20 and W30 wide-angle conversion lenses. This accessory allows you to use your existing photography setup, including the camera, housing, and lights, to capture the brilliant fluorescent glow emitted by coral, jellyfish, and other sea life.
Fluorescence is mostly visible in greens, blues, and reds, and is often produced as a result of exposure to a particular wavelength of light. Fluorescence photography is best done at night or at depths great enough to block out sunlight, but it's possible to do it in more shallow water during the day by experimenting with filtered light sources and underexposing the ambient light.
The Yellow Barrier Filter can be removed and replaced while underwater. Additionally, it includes a lanyard with a cord lock.
