This Ikelite Underwater Housing and Camcorder Kit from B&H Photo bundles the Ikelite 6086 waterproof case with the Canon VIXIA HF G30 Full HD Camcorder it houses, enabling you to shoot beneath the surface at a maximum depth of 200'. The housing's mechanical controls provide access to essential camcorder functions, including power on/off, mode switch, zoom, record start/stop, joystick toggle up/down, set, manual white balance, custom button 3, and custom button 4.
Built for durability, the housing is constructed by hand in the USA from corrosion-resistant polycarbonate, which is clear to allow you to monitor the o-ring seal and maintain a full view of the camcorder. The included glass port accommodates the camera's lens, and also accepts optional 67mm macro add-on lenses for close-up shooting. Additionally, a removable UR/Pro color-correction filter for tropical blue water is supplied. The Super-Eye glass optical viewfinder magnifies what you see through the camera's optical viewfinder. For better handling, a tray with dual ergonomic grip handles is included.
The Canon VIXIA HF G30 Full HD Camcorder shoots 1920 x 1080p Full HD video at 60 fps in AVCHD or web-friendly MP4 format. It also supports native 24p progressive mode, which gives footage a more cinematic look. Use built-in Cinema-Looks Filters to enhance that "film" look. The HF G30 is equipped with a Genuine Canon 20x HD video lens with an 8-blade circular aperture and 26.8-576mm (35mm equiv) focal length range. Its manual focus ring can easily be set to control the zoom instead. The 2.91MP Canon HD CMOS Pro Image Sensor and DIGIC DV 4 Processor enable wide dynamic range and improved low-light performance. The HF G30 also offers dual SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slots. For steady shooting, it delivers SuperRange Optical Image Stabilization with Dynamic Image Stabilization. It's equipped with a 3.5" OLED capacitive touch display and a 0.24" tiltable color LCD viewfinder. Dual-band Wi-Fi technology lets you share your videos quickly.
