In terms of speed, this drive offers sequential read times of up to 2,200 MB/s and sequential write times of up to 900 MB/s, as well as 4KB reads up to 430,000 IOPS and 4K writes up to 230,000 IOPS (Input/Output Operations per Second). In addition, this SSD also utilizes 20nm Intel NAND Flash Memory Multi-Level Cell (MLC) flash memory and features a 20 µs read and write latency, 1.2 million hour MTBF, and a lifetime endurance of up to 70GB writes per day. Since SSDs contain no mechanical parts, they are more durable against physical damage, including data loss and are not subject to the wear and tear that standard HDDs receive from read/write heads.
