User manual for the Interlogix NetworX Ethernet-connected Network Module NX590NE
The user manual for the Interlogix NetworX Ethernet-connected Network Module NX590NE provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product .
The General Electric NetworX Ethernet-connected Network Module is a dual microprocessor controlled Internet/Intranet (TCP/IP) interface that connects the control panel to the OH network receiver. It allows you to monitor up to 1000 NX-590NEs on the Osborne-Hoffman Network Receiver.
In addition to reporting all events from panel over the network, the Ethernet-connected Network Module can send events of 2 IP addresses for dual, split, or backup reporting. You can also configure the NX controls for dial or cellular backup in case of network communication failure. Besides protecting the data via a triple-DES encryption, the network module uses a dynamic KEY generation with a 24-byte random number generated for every event.
The NetworX Ethernet-connected Network Module enables you to tag video on all events that are sent to DVMRE digital recorder and multiplexer. It offers a low current draw of 90 mA in standby and 120 mA during communication at 12 VDC from NX control. Backwards compatible with all NetworX controls, the network module is housed in a 6" (152.4 mm) slot in the control cabinet.
