The JMR DT4U-825-S-3.84T SilverStor ATX Workstation comes installed with Windows 7 Professional and offers an internal eight bay removable storage system in a desktop form factor that can be converted into a rackmount via an optional kit. Each bay houses a 480GB SSD for a total capacity of 3.84TB. Each drive can be moved from one workstation to another to secure, duplicate or have others work on the same files. These drives are preconfigured for RAID 5 but can also be configured for RAID 0/1/4/6/10/40/50/60 via the hardware RAID controller. To help run demanding applications, this workstation comes equipped with a quad-core 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7-4771 processor with 32MB of RAM. This workstation also has an integrated Intel HD 4600 graphics that provide 4K resolutions through the HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI-I ports.
The SilverStor ATX workstation provides a Blu-Ray recorder that can save videos onto Blu-Ray discs and includes a 75-in-1 media reader to read cards from digital cameras or camcorders. Realtek ALC1150 7.1-channel HD audio is also included. When you need to access the Internet or a network you can connect using the Gigabit LAN RJ-45 jacks. To cool the system, JMR provides fans that are thermostatically-controlled and are quiet enough for use in sound sensitive situations. This workstation also provides Thunderbolt on board, six PCIe slots, and a PCI slot for expandability.
