Combining the insect and weather protection of a tent with the comfort of a cot, the Compact Double Tent Cot by Kamp-Rite is an off-the-ground sleep shelter. Standing 19" above the ground, it eliminates the discomfort of cold, damp, rocky terrain, and supports 500 lb with no uncomfortable cross bars. When detached from the cot base, the tent top can be used as a compact, lightweight two-person tent on the ground. The base can then be used as a typical cot. The sleeping area measures 55 x 85 x 41", and doors allow easy access on both sides - no climbing over a sleeping camper to get in or out. Necessities can be stored in interior pouches or in the mesh storage hammock on the underside of the cot. The Compact Double Tent Cot can be set up in minutes and comes with a rain fly. Two carry bags are included - one for the entire unit and one just for the tent.
