The 60GB 2.5" SSDNow V300 Solid State Drive Desktop Upgrade Kit from Kingston is a kit that will allow you to mount this SSD within the 3.5" bay of your desktop system, using the included 3.5" mounting bracket, as well as the included SATA power and data cables. Compatible with Windows and Mac OS systems, this drive connects via the SATA 6 Gb/s interface, while also being backwards compatible with SATA 3 Gb/s. This SSD will allow you to store and quickly access up to 60GB of your files, such as movies, photos, music, documents, and more. With solid state drive technology, you benefit from load and access times for your files and programs that are faster than a conventional 7200 rpm hard disk drive.
In terms of speed, the drive offers sequential read and write times of 450MB/s, as well as random 4K reads up to 85,000 IOPS, and random 4K writes up to 60,000 IOPS (Input/Output Operations per Second). Using the included Windows compatible drive cloning software, an existing hard drive or SSD may be cloned onto this SSD.
Included in this desktop bundle are a 3.5" bracket, mounting screws, SATA data and power cables, Acronis Hard Drive Cloning Software (Windows only), and an installation video.
