The matte black Mad Catz R.A.T. 7 Wired Gaming Mouse for Windows and Mac is a customizable gaming mouse which features a gold-plated USB 2.0 connector with a braided cable for a reliable connection to your computer. The overall length, as well as the thumb length and width, can be adjusted for comfortable game play for different sized hands and grip styles. The thumb panel can move forwards, backwards, and pivot outward for optimal positioning, while the palm rest is not only adjustable, but also interchangeable. It also includes interchangeable pinkie grips for additional customization.
The mouse uses a 6400dpi twin-eye laser sensor that reads each axis separately and tracks up to 236" per second. There are six programmable buttons, including the scroll wheel, which can be programmed to execute macros or key commands. One of these is the Precision Aim button, which allows you to adjust the sensitivity and assign programmable features with the included software.
A total of five weights are included with the mouse so that you can customize the feel of the mouse, using as many or as few as you desire. For additional customization, the mouse includes three interchangeable pinkie grips and three palm rests.
By downloading the included programming software, you can adjust the dpi sensitivity from 25 to 6400, and a dedicated button allows you to cycle through your custom settings.
