The MIPRO MA-708- Portable Rechargeable Wireless PA System With CD Player (190-Watt, Frequency 6A - 620 to 644 MHz)) is designed for medium-to-large-sized-crowd live reinforcement applications such as for schools, places of worship, corporate training, paging, trade shows, street performances, weddings, parades, auctions, fitness instruction, and other comparable situations. This portable rechargeable PA system can be rolled to gigs using the integrated wheels and built-in telescoping handle. It will standby up to 7 hours when powered by its built-in gel cell rechargeable battery and can recharge in approximately 8 hours. A 4-level battery indicator displays the status of the battery and the unit may also be powered by an AC adapter.
For sound amplification, the device uses a 190W class-D amplifier to drive an 8" low frequency woofer and a 1" high frequency titanium compression driver. An 1/8" (3.5 mm) input jack allows for connection of an external MP3, iPod, CD player, or other line level source. A built-in CD music player with remote control and an LCD display shows the track name, number, time, and recording status. An alarm button can also be engaged to generate an emergency warning siren sound. A stereo RCA output allows for connection to the input of an external sound device.
The PA system features an integrated UHF diversity wireless microphone receiver with 16 selectable channels as well as auto scan and transmitter sync functionality as well as echo control. A built-in storage compartment can accommodate up to two handheld or bodypack wireless transmitters. Up to four diversity receiver modules can be installed and the volume of the device can be digitally adjusted manually or wireless with an ACT-30HR transmitter microphone.
A voice priority feature will temporarily mute the music when the wireless microphone is used. It also includes the option of installing an MTM-90 wireless interlinking transmitter that can interlink multiple units together to extend the transmission range and expand the coverage of the entire system. Alternatively, a wired microphone can be connected using an XLR-3F microphone input with tone control over treble and bass.
