The DS9208-DL Omnidirectional Hands-Free Presentation Imager from Motorola is a hands-free barcode scanner capable of reading 1D, 2D, PDF417 and Postal symbologies as well as parsing data from driver's licenses. It features a working range from 0" to 10.5" depending on the type of barcode you are attempting to scan. Also, the DS9208-DL is drop resistant to 5' on concrete, ensuring the product will last.
The DS9208-DL utilizes a spherical exit window to improve scanning performance by reducing the amount of stray light and reflections that hit the imaging sensor. The scanner has multi-code and picklist modes that allow for scanning groups of codes or scanning codes from a list for smaller items. Also, it has dual LEDs and a programmable beeper for visual and aural confirmation.
This imager is capable of scanning codes on mobile devices like smartphones and tablets as well as computer screens. The DS9208-DL has USB, RS-232, RS-485, and wedge keyboard interface support and is compatible with 123Scan² and Remote Scanner Management software for saving time.
