Get ready for an extended outdoor excursion with the AutoFlow Gravity Microfilter Kit from MSR. This system uses gravity to filter 4.2 quarts of backcountry water and makes it suitable for drinking or cooking in just 2.3 minutes. Its external Hollow Fiber Filter cartridge is compact and easily replaceable. It will effectively filter out particles from 0.2µ and up in size and remove most large pathogens such as bacteria and protozoa. To keep your filter fully functional and prevent clogging for its entire lifespan of 396 gallons, the outlet of the bladder contains a pre-filter screen that blocks larger particles and sediment.
For easy and quick set-up in the field, the kit has adjustable closure strap and hanging straps with buckles, as well as other necessary components. Noteworthy is the included Universal Bottle Adapter that allows you to collect clean water in almost any output container, including most water bottles, reservoirs, and hydration hoses.
The system's bladder is made of durable and flexible semitransparent polymer with a scale on the front for showing the remaining fluid volume.
