The Naonext Crystall Ball MIDI Controller uses infrared optical distance sensors that allow you to control sound and lighting effects using your hands or other objects. The operating range of the optical sensors is between 5 and 35 cm.
The unit utilizes a grid of programmable buttons with 24 banks and 5 quick presets with each key on the keypad capable of controlling the device's five optical sensors. This enables MIDI control over elements such as effects, notes, and samples in your DAW, DJ, or MIDI-capable lighting program of choice. The instrument connects to your computer via USB and also includes MIDI I/O for connecting additional MIDI devices, sensors, or a foot-switch.
