User manual for the Neumann O 410 Tri-Amped Active Studio Monitor O 410
The user manual for the Neumann O 410 Tri-Amped Active Studio Monitor O 410 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Recording - Studio Monitors.
The Neumann O 410 Tri-Amped Active Studio Monitor is a three-way studio monitor that features Neumann's proprietary Mathematically Modeled Dispersion, or MMD, Waveguide, which controls wave dispersion. The Waveguide was first designed mathematically, then physically built and tested under anechoic conditions to verify theoretical performance. By controlling the directivity of the waves, the O 410's Waveguard decreases early reflections and widens the useable listening area. This widens what many audio engineers refer to as the sweet spot, or place in front of your monitors where the speaker output is most optimal. The Waveguard houses both the midrange and treble drivers, and can be rotated to allow for horizontal or vertical mounting of the O 410.
Designed to be able to compensate for different environments, the O 410 features bass, mid, and treble control knobs as well as a low end parametric EQ to tweak 20Hz to 200Hz. These EQ options allow you to tune the speakers to compensate for the acoustics of your room.
The O 410 houses a one-inch titanium/fabric dome tweeter, a three-inch soft dome midrange driver, and a ten inch woofer.
