It features a 3rd generation filmless autogated intensifier tube with resolution of 64-72 lp/mm and automatic brightness control. This intensifier will enable you to see brighter and clearer images than 1st and 2nd generation devices with similar optics. While the filmless microchannel plate increases signal-to-noise ratio and efficiency of the intensifier, the autogating greatly improves sensitivity in low-light and varying lighting conditions, protects against bright light burnout, and helps extend life. You can adjust image brightness or detail with a manual gain control. To help you get a precision shot, this night vision optic is equipped with a red-green mil-dot reticle with adjustable brightness.
