Capture the beauty and variety of sea life in Full HD video with Sony HDR-CX and HDR-PJ series camcorders in this Nimar Underwater Video Housing. This waterproof enclosure is compatible with the HDR-CX240, CX240E, PJ240, PJ240E, PJ270, and PJ270E camcorders. It features a depth rating of 262.5' and offers mechanical controls for essential camcorder functions, including on/off, video recording, zoom, and photo.
The housing has an ergonomic design with a grooved side handle, which is configured with a T-mount on top for the connection of an optional lighting arm. To resist corrosion, the enclosure has a durable, anodized aluminum body and a polycarbonate rear plate, which is clear to allow you to monitor the waterproof seal and the camcorder. It's also configured with a built-in flat lens port, which accepts an optional wide-angle accessory port to increase your field of view. Additionally, the housing features a lateral viewing mirror that shows you the reflection of what's on the camcorder's monitor, so you can see what you're shooting.
