The M300s are dependable flash heads with 300Ws of power variable over a 5-stop range and 2.5-second recycling to full power. The lights include a reflector and a user-replaceable modeling light to let you preview the effects of your lighting. The included umbrella can be used in traditional bounce mode, but for a little twist on that theme, pump the light through it and point the outside of the umbrella at the subject. The result is crisp and diffuse at the same time. A favorite of fashion shooters, the kit's octabox has a large surface area that displays a signature wrap-around look when used up close as well as rendering natural-looking catchlights in your subject's eyes.
