The M500 2-Monolight Kit with Umbrellas from Novatron is a great core or starter kit for the studio or on the road. The kit includes 2x M500 Monolights, each with a 43" white umbrella and a 10' light stand. The M500s are dependable flash heads with 500Ws of power variable over a 5-stop range and 2.5-second recycling to full power. The lights include a reflector and a user-replaceable modeling light to let you preview the effects of your lighting. The included umbrellas can be used in traditional bounce mode, but for a little twist on that theme, pump the light through them and point the outside of the umbrella at the subject. The result is crisp and diffuse at the same time.
