Olight developed their M23 Javelot LED Flashlight for tactical professionals who require a compact yet powerful EDC illumination tool. Its CREE XP-L LED produces outputs from a low 20-lumen to a darkness-piercing 1020 lumen high. The low output is ideal for performing tasks such as reading, while the high output allows for lighting and searching large areas. Because of the heat generated from the high output, thermal regulation circuitry automatically steps down the output from 1020 to 600 lumens after five minutes to protect the light from heat damage. Complimenting the outputs is a disorientating strobe mode. All outputs are controlled from a single pushbutton tailcap switch for simple activation with momentary and constant-on modes available.
