The user manual for the Pelco DX4816 16-Channel H.264 Hybrid Video DX48166000DVR provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Surveillance Video - Digital Video Recorders (DVRs).

The Pelco DX4816 16-Channel H.264 Hybrid Video Recorder (6 TB) is a high-performance hybrid video recorder that is suitable for retail, finance, education, corporate, and commercial security applications. Capable of recording up to 16 analog cameras, this HVR allows you to attach 2 additional IP cameras for monitoring a wider surveillance area. A handy CPU resource meter is included so that you can keep an eye out for potential problems and minimize system downtime.

H.264 compression technology lets you save on storage space and minimize bandwidth requirements while also making the HVR compatible with other equipment. The 16-channel HVR records videos at a rate of 30 ips per camera and supports resolutions up to 4 CIF for high-quality recorded imagery on all channels. An internal storage capacity of 6 TB is adequate for meeting the demands of high-speed recording without sacrificing on resolution. In addition, a unique HDD partitioning feature lets you create separate partitions for normal and event-triggered videos for a more secure storage solution.
