The Platypod Pro Deluxe Kit Camera Support allows you to support a tripod head, camera, and lens weighing up to 90 lb on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Three included rubber-tipped stainless steel spikes can be adjusted to level the base on uneven surfaces, and four unthreaded holes can accommodate zip ties to attach the base to a support like a pipe or railing. The base can also act as a light support by attaching the included spigot for mounting an umbrella adapter.
The Deluxe Kit also includes a pillowcase sleeve for protecting the base, and a four-compartment ballistic nylon case that can be worn on a belt, attached to a strap on a bag, or be hung from the case's carabiner. The case can hold most standard ball heads, as well as the spikes and spigot that come with the kit.
