The Presonus AudioBox 1818VSL Interface with Eris E5 Speakers Studio Bundle is a B&H Kit that combines a top-of-the-line interface with a pair of powered, two-way speakers. Since the interface ships with a 26 x 8 software mixer, the bundle is effectively a self-contained studio that only requires a computer, cabling, and microphones or instruments to function. The combination is a good choice for project studios, performing bands, school music labs, and a wide variety of corporate and other contractor applications.
The AudioBox 1818VSL provides a total of eighteen inputs and outputs that include two front-panel microphone/instrument combo inputs, six front-panel microphone/line combo inputs, true 48V phantom power, and eight line-level outputs. The two Eris E5 powered monitors each feature a 5.25" woofer mated with a 45W amplifier, along with a 1" silk-dome tweeter powered by a 35W amplifier. A rear-panel interface provides gain and tuning controls for adapting the speakers to a variety of acoustic environments.
