The 8' Boom Pole and Shock Mount with Adjustable Top Arm from ProAm USA is an articulated and extendable boom pole which allows you to isolate any shotgun microphone with the included dual-stage shock mount. The shock mount has two separate sets of rubber bands to hold almost any microphone in place, which keeps the microphone well isolated. It connects to the pole with 5/8" threads.
This boom pole's articulated arm gives you the ability to adjust the bend so you can get closer to shots without being in view of the camera. The boom pole is lightweight at 3 lb, and its 8' length can be compressed to 34" when closed without disassembling. The pole also has a clip to hold the mic cable.
