The user manual for the Promise Technology 1-Year Extended Warranty for Pegasus PR1YEXT provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Computers & Solutions - Networking - Server & NAS Warranties.
The 1-Year Extended Warranty for Pegasus R4/R6 RAID with Drives from Promise Technology extends the standard warranty by one year in for the Pegasus R4/R6 with drives, in both USA and Canada.
This warranty includes all components, except for the fan and power adapter, will conform to Promise's specifications and will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.
The warranty applies only to products which are new and in cartons on the date of purchase, is not transferable, is valid only when accompanied by a copy of the original purchase invoice, and is not valid on spare parts.
The warranty shall not apply to defects resulting from improper or inadequate maintenance, or unauthorized modification(s) performed by the end user, operation outside the environmental specifications for the product, and accident, misuse, negligence, misapplication, abuse, natural or personal disaster, or maintenance by anyone other than a PROMISE or a PROMISE-authorized service center.
