Roland's RD-series stage pianos have always been highly respected and the instruments of choice for many performers. The RD-800 follows in the tradition and offers a sleek, updated look and many improvements in sound, feel and versatility. The 88-note keyboard features the company's flagship hammer-action design and provides an authentic weighted touch. Additionally, the instrument offers fast, effortless operation while playing on stage.
There are five acoustic piano types and thirty-four variations to choose from, including a new Concert Grand tone derived from Roland's flagship V-Piano Grand which features enhanced presence for cutting through in live situations. A new upright piano offers the unique short decay and up-close sound of a traditional upright instrument. A variety of authentic vintage electric pianos are provided, plus organs, synthesizers, and many other pro sounds for augmenting live performances.
The RD-800 provides a copious amount of controls for customizing the SuperNATURAL piano tones, including parameters such as string resonance, key-off resonance, hammer noise, and many others. These custom settings can be stored as Live Sets for instant recall during performances. In addition the instrument includes a variety of enhanced SuperNATURAL-based electric pianos representing classic instruments from the '60s, '70s, and '80s.
A large selection of simultaneous effects is available with dedicated real-time controls for processing and enhancing the sounds in real-time. Onstage operation is effortless with the intuitive interface, which includes a color display, an array of dedicated controls, and the new Tone Color function for dramatic sound manipulation from a single knob. Live Sets allow for storing prepared setups, including tone layers, keyboard split point, effects, and more for quick recall via dedicated buttons while performing.

True Dock is not recognizing HDD, the HDD light does not come on, even though the power light does come one....
