User manual for the Rollei RPX-D Film Developer for Rollei 400 Black and 422311
The user manual for the Rollei RPX-D Film Developer for Rollei 400 Black and 422311 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Photography - Darkroom - Black & White Film & Paper Chemistry.
The 1,200ml RPX-D Film Developer from Rollei is a photographic developing agent used particularly for pictorial development of Rollei RPX 400 black & white films. The developer uses 400 ASA (American Standards Association) film speed nominal sensitivity. It offers good results when pushing (underexposing), and expanding the ASA range from 400 to 3,200. Such high sensitivity is necessary because even at the range of 800 to 1,600 ASA, there are no visible changes to the tonal value. From 3,200 ASA, the grain increases without a visible decrease in the tonal value. The developer offers high-edge sharpness at this sensitivity.
