The HDS-41R HDMI Switcher from RTcom is a switcher designed to allow (4) different digital audio and video sources to share (1) video display. This unit is ideally suited for home theater systems that require different HDMI connectors to view multiple video sources. Do away with the hassle of repeatedly connecting and disconnecting cables by using this convenient switcher.
This switcher will connect HDMI audio and video to compatible HDTV, LCD monitors, or digital projectors. It supports digital video & audio in accord with the HDMI standard 1.2 specification and is also compatible with Blue-Ray and HDCP. Additionally, it is backwards-compatible with all DVI devices through use of an HDMI-to-DVI adapter cable (DDH-02). The switcher can be controlled manually or with the included IR remote control.
This unit is completely plug and play and requires no software installation. It also features an intuitive LED display provides visual cues for video source channel selection. Signal Amplification on this model allows for the extension of the interconnect cable length up to 20' (15m) without signal loss.
