The MobileRAID MR2CT+ 2-Bay USB 3.0/eSATA/FireWire 800 RAID Enclosure from Sans Digital is a hardware RAID embedded enclosure that provides high-performance storage with transfer speeds of up to 200 MB/s. The embedded hardware RAID design offloads complex RAID calculations from the computer to the unit, allowing high-performance throughput to eSATA and USB 3.0 (backwards compatible with USB 2.0). The FireWire 800 port (backwards compatible with FireWire 400) allows connection with Mac computers that do not have an eSATA or USB port.
