Designed for CAD and simulation computing, the VFX 9200B Workstation from Seneca is powered by a 3.3 GHz Intel Core i7-5820K Six-Core processor that features a burst speed of 3.6 GHz and allows you to run multiple applications simultaneously. The 16GB of 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM allows the computer to quickly access frequently-used files and programs and also helps to ensure smooth multitasking. While the system does utilize 2 x 120 / 140 mm fans for cooling purposes, there is also built-in liquid cooling.
For long-term storage of your files, the system is equipped with a 256GB SSD and a 1TB 7200 rpm hard drive with a 64MB cache, for a total storage capacity of 1.256TB. If you want to add external storage drives or other peripherals, the VFX 9200B features twelve USB 3.0/2.0 ports and four USB 2.0/1.1 ports, as well as a Thunderbolt 2 card. The dedicated NVIDIA Quadro K2200 graphics card features 4GB of GDDR5 RAM and delivers a sharp, clear picture while allowing for a wide range of monitors to be used via its dual DisplayPort 1.2 and single Dual Link DVI-I outputs. Whether you are listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game, the integrated Realtek ALC1150 audio controller outputs 8-channel high definition audio and delivers higher fidelity than standard audio controllers.
The Seneca VFX 9200B Workstation is powered by an 860W 80+ Platinum power supply and includes a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, and a power cord. The installed operating system is Windows 8.1 (64-bit).
