This model has a 5-megapixel resolution due to the inclusion of a 1/2" CMOS image sensor and for more discrete night shooting this camera features a covert black cover for the 18-LED infrared flash array. Photographing wildlife is no issue with the PIR motion sensor with a 40' range and a 1.2-second triggering speed. Also, during the night the infrared flash will illuminate subjects up to 30' away.
Video recording is also possible at a resolution of 640 x 480 at 30 fps. Also, all of the images and movies are saved to an SDHC card up to 32GB in size. The WhiteTail Trail Camera runs on 4 AA batteries for convenience and will run for up to 6 months.
